The bracelet has a number of hallmarks indicating the bracelet was made in 1961 in Chester, England from sterling silver. The inside of the bangle is hollow. The bracelet has and unusual patented opening mechanism compared to the classic safety chain. As the bracelet opens it smoothly slides along another piece of silver, an excellent design feature.
