This is to accommodate larger accessories such as the ALY 195BK Triple Pump Hanger. V1 Accessories now come with a ALY 104BK adapter plate to allow them to bolt to the new Raceworks Fuel Cell range. V2 accessories will not fit a V1 fuel cell.
