Goofy Gumpus Mechanical Vintage Valentine Card 1920’s British_Columbia Front: Burton Memorial Carillon TowerThis mechanical card is from a 1920s series of Valentine cards. This card is the smaller of the 2 series. The animals head changes by turning it to transform into 3 different animals. This is called cryptozoology, which is similar to adding a horn to a horse to create a unicorn. Each animal has a unique and fun expression to create a funny Valentine Greeting. The card is in excellent condition and is made from a heavier paper.
