The gold work on the ceramic piece is done after the second firing, where the artist uses a set of specialized brushes and pens, to paint patterns with gold luster, an oil based suspension of gold particles. Afterwards, the piece is fired in the kiln for a third time, where the oil evaporates and the gold becomes permanent on the ceramic piece. The
