Rare Vintage 1930s Sports Coat Grey Blue Cream Tweed 30s Overcoat UK S/M 1950s Shorts these have been removed butA tremendous vintage early 1930s American sport coat made by 'Chippewa' from medium weight tweedy wool fabric in a small checkerboard weave in marled blue, grey & cream. Made in a soft, unstructured way, it has quite a low gorge with big collar & wide lapels, fairly narrow, unpadded shoulders, long, slim sleeves with pointed cuff turn backs, & slash hand warmer pockets; it fastens with 3 close set early plastic art deco buttons & has a matching belt.
