1851 THE REVIVAL RECORD MAG. Female Preachers, Methodist Memoirs, American Slavery, Illustrated. Puritan Dwight LymanRather rare revivalist periodical from within the Wesleyan camp of Methodism. Excellent content including on past and present revivals, on prayer meetings, female preaching, previously unpublished early Methodist letters and memoirs, slavery in America, and a very fine suite of original illustrations for a series of memoirs of various members of the Wesley family; we believe these to be exclusive to this publication.
