Northern Pygmy Owl - Fine Art Print climb Original 18 x 24 xThe Northern Pygmy Owl is can be found hunting in the daylight in the higher elevation forests of Oregon. This stunning creature was photographed by a local Bend birder, Sharron, who commissioned me to turn her photograph into a painting. The picture was taken in the fall when the Aspen trees were flashing their bright yellow leaves. This little but mighty bird is one of the most stunning creatures I have painted to date.
