Stag beetles are relatively large beetles known for their majestic "antlers" (actually mandibles,) which only the males possess. The "antlers" are used in brave displays of strength and endurance to win over the hearts of their prospective mates much like you guessed it stags! After preparing the art for this design, I used an acid bath to etch the
