Originally trained as a nurse, Frellsens first steps into the creative world began as a clothing designer, but by the early 1970s, she focussed solely on her art. By the late 1970s she was able to live exclusively from her art. In this oil on board, the bold, sweeping composition conveys a sense of movement and spontaneity. We immediately
