mid tempo excursion into R&B-laced synth pop
Stella – Détends-Toi reissue Label: Backatcha RecordsStill brand new but were already calling this one a Salt Box Favorite! A nice mixed bag marking the first release from German label Cosmic Romance. Vocalist Stella glides, in French, over smooth electronic tracks that give us icy mid tempo boogie feels on cuts like the title track & Sentimentale. Also worth checking is the cover of Carly Simon & Chics Why (entitled Pourquoi? of course). Year: 2022 Label: Cosmic Romance Country: Germany Catalog #: CSRM
