Fusiliers at rest, about mid nineteenth century, around the time of the Crimean War. One of a pair of original antique watercolours with charcoal and body colour, this has the title hand written on the reverse. One the other painting, there is also a hand written note attached which reads Painted by Lt Col Seccombe. Belonged to Alfred Hoole of Hallam Gate, Sheffield, father of Dorice Beaumont.
