Peacock Feather brooch Pod I became acquainted with OleanderThere is hardly an object more beautiful or dazzling to the eye then a peacock feather, or a vase full of them, or photographs displaying a peacocks full plumage. A courtyard off calle Jose Guadalupe Mojica in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, has a grand garden with a peafowl harem. I recall it was spring. The peahens were in season. During my stay the ladies would convene in the courtyard in the mornings foraging through the fallen jacaranda petals.
